Hello Weasyl Users!

We have another great tip for you regarding art theft and plagiarism. Here at Weasyl we take artistic rights and copyright very seriously and we feel respecting the rights of artists is the foundation for an art community. We want to make sure everyone is given credit for their hard work and creative talent.

Hello again, Weasyl Community! Our staff has been listening to the feedback from our users since we opened up our site, and we’ve been hard at work improving many aspects of the site. Today we want to focus on the updates to our Community Guidelines and our Ratings Guidelines.

Hey Weasyl Users!
We’re back to deliver another hot tip straight off the Weasyl easel just for you!
As some of our older members know from past announcements we at Weasyl really like to impress the use of our tagging feature with submissions as we’ve made announcements about them in the past. Tags help users who are searching for a specific type of genre, character or subject matter they enjoy, using our on-site search engine. The engine is most effective when everyone takes the time to categorize their submissions with the most precise tags possible when they upload a submission. The more accurate and specific the tags you provide on your work, the more likely your content will appear in another user’s search.
Hey, Everybody!
We’re back with another reporting tip, this on how to get the best possible response from staff when addressing technical issues with the site.
As you’re all aware, sites like ours often experience issues with slowdowns, unresponsive features, or even downtime. As we move forward in this beta period, we are constantly trying to fix underlying issues and limit downtime. Your reports and suggestions have been instrumental in helping make us a more efficient site and improving the overall Weasyl experience.
